In all seriousness though, this is why parrots are such a huge commitment and not for everyone. It's easy to get drawn in by the cute videos online, but the truth is, parrots are very difficult pets and not a decision to take lightly. They're LOUD, extremely needy and time consuming, a huge commitment (they can live over 50 years, depending on the species), and bite hard enough to break bone.
Don't get me wrong--parrots are absolutely wonderful, but they are far from the picture-perfect life that social media so often portrays.
