A lot of people ask where exactly do birds sleep, and while it’s typically always at the highest perch in the cage that doesn’t mean you have to always use a normal branch. One of my favorite perches to use as a dual sleeping perch and nutritional supplement are the clam shells. This gives birds a chance to perch with their feet flat and exercise their feet into different positions.
Coming in two different sizes, these shells are a wonderful flat perch that also contains minerals such as: iodine, an essential nutrient for thyroid function, and calcium.
